Scott started his football career with Woodside Boys Club in his home town of Glenrothes from eight years of age until 12, then Glenrothes Strollers until the age of 14. Alex Carswell picked Scott up for Dunfermline U15 and he has come up through the youth programme at Dunfermline. First team debut at Tynecastle in the CIS Insurance cup tie against Hearts.

A product of Woodside Boys Club in Glenrothes, Kris comes from Hill of Beath. The former pupil of Beath High School played with Woodside from the age of seven until Alex Carswell and Bert Paton invited him to a Soccer School and subsequently joined Dunfermline Athletic at Under 12 level.

Greg Paterson joined in the summer of 2005 following spells with Cairneyhill Boys Club, Inverkeithing United and Dunfermline Under 12's. He then moved to Rangers at the of 13 until while at U15 level before joining the Pars. Capped nine times for Scotland at U16 level and eight times at Under 17 level. Now part of the Scotland U19 squad.
