Nick signed from Hearts Boys Club, playing at Under 13 level, before progressing through the ranks of the Under 14s, 15s and 16s.
The Glasgow born midfielder signed a full-time contract in the summer of 2004 after impressing Craig Robertson and Jim Leishman was included in the first team squad in 2005-06. Signed an extension to his contract in March 2008 to keep him at East End Park until 31st May 2010.
Aged 17 years 5 months and 28 days became Dunfermline Athletic's youngest ever player to start an SPL match - against Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium.
