A product of Dunfermline's youth policy, Iain made his debut at Ibrox while eighteen year old as a substitute in an SPL match against Rangers on 11th November 2006. The past two seasons have seen Iain very much part of the first team squad although most of his appearances have been from the bench. He has pace and an eye for goal but is also a hard worker. In 2006-2007 Iain won the Pars Young Player of the Year Award.
Iain from Edinburgh made five appearances, all off the bench, in season 2006-2007. That included involvement in the Scottish Cup final. Signed a two year deal in 2007 that keeps him at East End Park until the end of 2008-2009 season.
