"We didn't play well today but we ground out a great result. You could see the commitment and the desire there to stop the goal at the end with a wee bit of luck that every team needs.

"There has been a lot of negativity about the place for a long time and that is not just going to turn right away. We are going to give them something to cheer ..

"I just feel that we need to be a bit fitter, I don't think as a squad we are fit enough. That's just my personal thoughts on it but you cannot increase things like that overnight, it has to be done over the longer term.
