Dunfermline Athletic Football Club

The DAFC Community Coaching Programme is divided into two groups; Mini Kickers for children aged 3 to 5 and Primary Soccer Schools for children aged 5 to 12 years .

MINI KICKERS

Our Mini Kickers football coaching classes are designed for pre-school children aged 3, 4 and 5.  The classes are open to both boys and girls of all levels and ability.  All of our classes are held indoor at various community centres throughout Dunfermline. 

The Mini Kickers classes are designed to develop the child's motor skills whilst introducing them to football from a very early age, and to provide them with a fun, safe environment that allows the children to integrate and develop their character whilst maintaining an emphasis on fun and enjoyment.Sammy Pars Balloons Pic

A typical 1 hour session may consist of:
· 10 mins Warm Up                           
· 10 mins Motor Skill Development 
· 10 mins Skill Activity                         
· 05 mins Break                                   
· 10 mins Fun Activity                          
· 15 mins Small Sided Games

Aims of Mini Kickers:
· To allow children to have fun through football
· Introduction to Basic Concepts of Football - control, dribbling, passing
· Development of Motor Skills - co-ordination, balance, flexibility
· Improve Social Skills - listening, independence and confidence

Please Note:  Ideal clothing would consist of trainers, jogging bottoms/shorts and a t-shirt. and parents are also asked to provide their child with a water/juice bottle, for a half-time break.

 PRIMARY SOCCER SCHOOLS

Our Primary Soccer Schools are designed for children of primary school age.  We provide high quality football skills coaching in Dunfermline and the immediate surrounding areas in a safe, fun, all skills levels environment. There is no minimum skill level required for these fun training sessions and both boys and girls are welcome in any of our sessions.Football Tennis

· 05 mins Ball Related Warm-Up 
· 15 mins Skill Practice                  
· 10 mins Fun Game                      
· 05 mins Break 
· 20 mins Small Sided Games
· 05 mins Cool Down            

Aims of Primary Soccer Schools:
· The DAFC Coaches aim to deliver an all inclusive, fun, hourly football session.
· Development of skills and personality traits i.e. teamwork & communication.
· To identify local talent to play for the DAFC Youth Iniative teams.
