Many fans will remember Paul Donnelly from his playing days in the 70's and 80's, and Paul is now helping out at youth level, passing on his knowledge and practical tips.

Paul Donnelly , the player, signed for the Pars just after his 19th birthday in 1977, and made his debut a few short weeks later against Berwick Rangers. He remained a regular in the line up over the next seven years and was a dynamic and hard working midfielder. Despite his slight frame, Paul was a brave and committed player, always willing to scrap to the last for every ball - many argue that he was probably the right player at the wrong time. Altogether, Paul made 191 appearances for the club, scoring 8 goals along the way, before leaving for Partick Thistle in 1984.

After leaving Partick Thistle he headed off to Australia for ten years. There he played with Melbourne Croatia and represented Victoria and Western Australia at state level. After being part of four national championship winning sides Paul headed for Malaysia.

These days, he is an active and tireless member of the Youth Initiative coaching staff for the Club.
