Bobby Robertson's connections with Dunfermline go back to 1974 when George Miller signed him on "S" forms for the club he had always supported.He played with the juvenile team Leven Royals before signing provisionally for Dunfermline who farmed him out to Kirkcaldy YMCA and was called up in 1977.Bobby captained the team in their two successive promotion winning seasons, and played almost 400 league and cup matches for the first team.

Between September 9 1978 and February 10 1982 Bobby played 154 consecutive league and cup matches.He combined a successful sporting career with a successful professional career as a general medical practitioner and is now the Club doctor.
